Accompanied with notes, illustrative of
the history, policy, principles, &c. of
the masonic Institution; shewing the
coincidence of its spirit and design with
ancient jesuitism; and proving conclu-
sively, by facts and arguments, that it
necessarily leads to aristocratic distine-
tions in society, is a dangerous and
deadly f oe to equal liberty, and a f ormi-
dable engine in the hands of wicked and
designing men; and, also, tends to cor-
rupt christianity, and the pubMc morals.
To which is subjoined, a brief sketch of
the masonic ihuminati of Germany; of
the circumstances relative to the ab-
duction of [Will.] Morgan and of the
present prospects of anti-masonry in
various sections of the Union. With
various strictures relating to the general
subject, partly original, and partly dedu-
ced from anti-masonic writings; copious
