bei der vorliegenden Untersuchung durch die systematische Form der Materialauswahl
ein synchronistischer Effekt weitgehend ausgeschlossen. Die statistische
Auswertung ergab keine Bestätigung der traditionellen astrologischen
Regeln in bezug auf die Ehe. Bei zwei der untersuchten astrologischen Beziehungen
ergaben sich statistisch auffällige Resultate, die aber erst nach gleichartigen
Ergebnissen mit weiterem Material als streng gesichert angesehen werden
könnten.

SUMMARY

An astrological statistic was based on the birthdates of 600 (partly 926) married
people of permanent and divorced marriages. In connection with a foregoing
investigation of CG. Jung special stress was laid on analyzing the reciprocal
aspects between the factors of the partner's horoscopes. Jung interpreted his
results, which seemed to confirm the assumptions of astrology according to
his principle of synchronicity. The present investigation seemed by systematic
procedure of choosing the dates to exclude the possibility of a sychronistical
effect. The Statistical evaluation did not confirm the traditional astrological assumptions
referring to marriage. Two of the examined astrological relations
showed results above chance, but they can only be regarded as significant if they
are confirmed by repeated experiments.

RESUME

Une statistique astrologique fut basee sur les dates de naissance de 600 (et en
partie de 926) gens maries; aux mariages permanents ou divorces. En relation
avec une investigation anterieure de C. G. Jung Fanalyse comprenait en premier
Heu les aspects reciproques entre les facteurs astrologiques des partenaires d'un
couple. Tandis que Jung interpretait ses resultats qui semblaient confirmer les
theses de Fastrologie ä Faide de son principe de synchronicite, cette investigation
semble exclure 1'efFet de synchronicite par le procede du choix des dates. L'eva-
luation statistique ne confirmait pas les regles de Fastrologie traditionelle en relation
avec le mariage. Deux des relations astrologiques analysees montaient des
resultats statistiques exedant la chance, mais ce n'est qu'apres confirmation par
des resultats d'analyse repetees avec d'autres dates qu'ils peuvent etre consideres
comme probants.
