Starting with the initial PK-experiments with dice which took place in the
Parapsychological Laboratory of Duke University in 1934 he goes on to show
the improvements made on the methods as well as the discovery of the decline-
effect by Rhine and his group of investigators. This effect occurred in the
form of quarter-distributions (QD-analysis) and was considered to be a
proof.

The PK - investigations by L. A. Dale (1946), McConnell, Snowdon and
Powell (1955), G. W. Fisk and D. J. West (1951/52) and the experiments of
PK-placement by H. Forwald (1951—1957) are represented as confirmation
found independently of the Duke Laboratory.

According to the author's view the present PK-results prove the existence
of psychokinesis but they do not mean more than a first foothold in a wide
unknown territory.
